This is where it all began. Where my passion for photography came to light. It was back in 1980, with my first camera, a Minolta SRT SCII, 35mm single lens reflex.
This also was one of my first concerts as a teenager. It was a double bill of Blackfoot and UFO. At the time, Blackfoot was fronted by one of Lynyrd Skynyrd's original members, Rick Medlocke.
As the years passed, I continued my passion to combine photography with live music and pursued a career that ended up working with many musicians professionally.
This shot is not only one of the first, but one of my favorites to this day.
