During Blue Oyster Cult's song Godzilla which the band started having the Godzilla prop rise up during the song from their '79 into 1980 tour. This was the only Day on the Green concert I shot from backstage area. Capturing the historic Day on the Green #1 concert on July 4th, 1980. Was interesting to capture the stage and vibe from that angle, perspective. Unfortunately by the time had arrived to the venue getting passes late before concert started that day, only had the chance to capture Sammy Hagar and Blue Oyster Cult.
