A telephoto photograph of a GGreat Blue Heron with a lake fish speared on it's beak. I had been watching American Coot's bathing in the shallows of Nelson's Landing when I got a glimpse of this heron with a fresh caught fish, ready to consume meal! Spun the camera around on the swiveled tripod head and quickly capture this prized moment! Nelson's Landing on the Colorado River at the northern end of Lake Mojave in Nevada.
